You don’t need an original vintage J. Barbour jacket… I did some research on the company after I purchased my piece. Barbour remade the jacket in the photo above, ”The Steve McQueen Collection.” The store is located on 123 Wooster St. Soho New York 10021… The Manager’s name is Toni, and is spectacular…She not only is totally down to earth, and helpful, Toni should be the spokeswoman for Barbour…Steve McQueen, one of my favorite actors put this coat on the map.. McQueen loved motorcycles and wore the Barbour jacket while he raced in the ISDT series..He is a true icon in my opinion, and his style and fashion has been timeless. Steve McQueen is a true innovator of what cool should be.. His real signature look was khakis, no lace white chuck taylors, white crew neck t-shirt, with a crew neck grey cotton sweatshirt.. simple to the point and classic. This is how I rocked My Vintage J Barbour jacket today…… Enjoy
