My husband and I have decided that Sundays will be my day to blog. Michael has been putting a lot of work and time into this blog so I figured it would be nice to give him a break once a week. Also I think it is important to get a woman’s perspective and I’m sure men would like to know what is inspiring to us.

I thought that because it was so nice out today, Puddy would like to join me for a walk to Starbucks before I got dinner started.

I put a scarf on Puddy because it was a little chilly with the wind, but mostly because he looked cute and it matched my outfit!

Speaking of my outfit, I wouldn’t have been able to throw it together so well if it wasn’t for Michael. I have no idea how to tie a bow tie and his styling knowledge comes in handy when I think I have nothing to wear. He has taught me a lot when it comes to layering and putting the right pieces together. Who says a girl can’t rock a bow tie?

The whole outfit is from Ralph Lauren and Rugby. Michael isn’t the only one having a love affair with the clothing line or bow ties for that matter. It’s just that the pieces are so classic and they can be mixed and matched with so much. You can make 20 outfits with five pieces.

With the holidays coming around the corner, I am looking forward to all the delicious food. So it’s time to prepare for overindulgence. Michael and I have decided to cut down on the calories now and that way an extra cannoli at Christmas wont hurt anybody.

I wanted to make something healthy for dinner tonight but still have it taste good. Since we usually have pasta on Sundays , I wanted to incorporate a starch to replace it. I made brown rice with chopped veggies mixed in and seasoned some chicken breast to grill. Believe me it tastes better than it sounds!

P.S. The song is Michael’s pick, he begged me to put it on. I would have used a different song but I gave in to him….this time!
